The 6 pointed star symbolizes finding your balance.  It is comprised of two equilateral triangles.  The triangle pointing up represents action of the outward flow of energy through selflessness.  The triangle pointing downward represents knowledge or the inward search of our spirituality.  When you find your balance, the star is also perfect.
